Taking the battle for Special Category Status (SCS) to the national capital, YSR Congress has blown the cornet of dispute, solidly pointing the finger at Chandrababu Naidu and his malicious motivation of self advancement at the cost of Andhra Pradesh welfare and said that it will proceed with the battle till the objective is accomplished and hosts summoned support of different gatherings for the reason, other than drawing national consideration on the issue.
YSR Congress MPs, MLAs, pioneers and framework held a huge dharna here on Monday in a piercing dissent that resonated in the continued Budget session of Parliament with the trademark SCS is our right, don't be deceived by extraordinary bundle.
Talking at the Maha Dharna, Party senior pioneers V Vijayasai Reddy, Melkapati Rajamohan Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Vara Prasad, Mithun Reddy, Ummaredy Venkateswarlu, Pilli Subashchandra Bose and others stated, our Party President and Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been constantly battling on the SCS at different discussions while Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has sold the state interests for his own increases in Delhi and has been singing diverse tunes on the issue to suit the event.
While he has requested SCS for an expanded time of 15 years amid electioneering, in the wake of coming to control he has endeavored to dilute it and began scrutinizing the significance of status and acknowledged what he called a bundle which was useful to him and his cadre.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has chalked out the disturbance program and we held picketing at all the District Collector workplaces on March 1 which was a thundering achievement and now this Maha Dharna is being held to tell the country how SCS is being denied to Andhra Pradesh in spite of being guaranteed in the floor of the Parliament amid the bifurcation of the state.
The MPs of the Party will take up the issue inside the Parliament too and on March 21, we are set up to move the no trust movement against the NDA administration of which TDP is an accomplice. All through the Budget session, we will keep on raising the issue and if the Center does not yield to our request till the penultimate day, our Party MPs will leave in challenge on April 6.
Chandrababu Naidu needs truthfulness on the issue and has been faking obliviousness and his twofold norms have gone to the fore with TDP MPs discussing SCS from their tongue tips while the two MPs keep on being in the Union Cabinet and express no challenge. These twofold gauges have been uncovered well and their expectation has been clear, they said.
The best pioneers were later captured while they were heading towards the Parliament to present a notice to Union Home Minister on the SCS.
